ABOUT THE PIECE:

"A phrase began beating in my ears with a sort of heady excitement: There are only the pursued, the pursuing, the busy, and the tired."
-Excerpt from F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby

This photograph is from an ongoing project titled, In Pursuit. This series confronts the modern dilemmas of domestic life in the form of personal documentation. By responding to domestic settings with a delicate sensibility, a familiar sense of home is revealed. These photographs serve as a testament of the quiet observer, seeking optimism in everyday moments.
