Civilian Art Projects is pleased to announce “Prince and Other Departed Legends,” a community exhibition celebrating the lives of those creative souls who left a lasting impact on the world before departing. The exhibition opens on July 16 and will be on view until August 6, 2016. A public reception for the artists will be held on saturday, July 16, from 7-9pm.
“Prince and Other Departed Legends” features the work of Ken D. Ashton, Robin Bell, Mei Mei Chang, Jeremy Darby, John David Deardourff, Kate Deciccio, Kyle Goen, Sarah C.B. Guthrie, Ada Hao, Eve Hennessa, Ryan Hill, Rose Jaffe, Nilay Lawson, Christopher Lee, Adrian Loving, Jobi Jovanka Magana, Kate Macyshyn, Joseph Orzal, Chinedu Felix Osuchukwu, Dan Tague, Sargent-Thamm, Antonia Tricarico, and Martine Workman. The exhibition features painting, works on paper, video, projection, performance, and more.
