Jason Zimmerman (b. 1978, Lancaster, PA) is an independent artist who began his studies in photography as a teen growing up in York, Pennsylvania. He went on to pursue a degree in photography at Washington, D.C.'s Corcoran College of Art and Design in 1998, and was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Cum Laude in 2003. He has been living and working in Washington, DC ever since. His photography, video, and new media works have been exhibited nationally, including numerous solo and group shows in and around the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan areas, New York, and Miami. Zimmerman has also been honored as a finalist in several major juried competitions, as well as a regular exhibiting artist in multiple international art fairs.
